Lolicon (lolita (titular character) + complex) is an erotic genre of hentai depicting children in sexual scenarios. Additionally, it is used as a slang term for people attracted to children. in Japan These girls are supposed to be twelve and under, seeing as Lolita was twelve in the novel, but it seems japs will call any young girl-centric medium and the people who like them, 'lolicon', ranging from an attraction to high-school young adults to the real-life idol scene. These broad usage and degeneration of the phrase parallels pretty well with how the word 'pedophilia' is used in western societies. As such and due to its similarites with pedophilic content, it has been treated similarly in the western world, with it being deemed illegal in cucked countries like Asstralia and the United Kingdom, treating the crime as the same as assaulting an actual child.

There is another word for 'lolicon'. Yes, I did just mention the parallel with 'pedophilia', and it is true, seeing as arousal is dependent on realism and them admitting to satisfying similar lusts to pedophiles. The word I'm talking about comes after to say that to a typical western lolicon's face, also known as an ironic lolicon. The word is ANNOYING. In a sea of already annoying and retarded people (no longer called otakus, just 'anime watchers'), lolicons are one of the most annoying groups to come out of it, because it only makes sense for people who make porn their personality to be super irritating. You could argue it's out of reaction to the similarly annoying (perhaps even harmful) moralists against it, but they have no right to be this obnoxious.
